ACTion for Jackson 2012
More than 400 people from around the country gathered at Christie’s in Rockefeller Center, NYC on October 26th for a fun-filled evening that raised over $375,000 for EB research. All the evening’s guests and sponsors showed their support for the exciting new therapies being developed at Stanford University and the University of Minnesota. Dr. Al Lane of Stanford University spoke of the tremendous impact JGSF has made in enabling the scientific community to work on finding life-changing treatments for EB. ACTion for Jackson 2011
ACTion for Jackson 2011 was a tremendous success and raised over $200,000 to support the promising therapies being developed at Stanford University and the University of Minnesota. More than 300 people turned out at Doubles at the Sherry-Netherland in New York City for an evening of cocktails, hors d’oevres and a fantastic auction featuring Super Bowl tickets and more.
Disney Marathon Weekend
Team JGSF rocked their tutus and took Disney World by storm with 40 runners participating in the Marathon, Half Marathon, and 5K. The team raised over $38,000 for research. Following the races, Team JGSF’s runners were treated to a fireworks celebration at Epcot hosted by National Rehab Team..

NYC Marathon Events
The Jackson Gabriel Silver Foundation is honored to be an official charity partner in the prestigious NYC Half and Full Marathons. Since 2011, Team JGSF has raised over $150,000 for EB research through its participation in NYRR’s Marathon Events. On March 1st, 2013, more than 80 runners sprinted through the streets of Jerusalem as part of Team Butterfly. Under the leadership of David Beiss, a young man with EB Simplex, Team Butterfly raised has raised over $100,000 since 2012. Garden City Group raises $50,000 for JGSF
Every year, the Garden City Group (www.gcginc.com) chooses a charity for the company to support. In 2010, the GCG designated JGSF as its Charity of the Year. At a special ceremony, the GCG presented JGSF with a check for $50,000. What a difference this company and its employees have made in the field of EB research.
